JCB Kirsch founded after about ten years of researches the International Delphic Council together with 57 personalities of 20 countries of 5 continents in Berlin 1994, 100 years after the International Olympic Games and after 1600 years after the ban of both Games 394 by Emperor Theodosius, as heathen games. Inger-Mette Stenseth

Project coordinator for Start-Up for Peace

Inger-Mette Stenseth is a Norwegian transformative leader rooted in deep ecology, cultural heritage, and systems thinking. With a background in sustainable fashion and design, she bridges art, science, and social innovation to cultivate regenerative leadership and nature-based solutions for lasting impact.

She serves on the boards of the International Delphic Academy and the International Peace Garden Network, promoting ecological restoration, food sovereignty, and cultural remembrance. Her leadership, shaped by Greek heritage and classical philosophy, integrates aesthetics, ethics, and nature to inspire peace, inner transformation, and democratic renewal.

With four decades of youth engagement, she has contributed to Erasmus+ programs in partnership with Norwegian Climate Network and Green Cross Sweden, internship at Norwegian Peace Research Center ( PRIO 1992), and the Council of Europe’s All Different – All Equal Peace Trains (1994/95), advancing diversity and civic participation across Europe.

Stenseth co-founded 360hub Global (2001) and World Climate School (2021), leading global education initiatives and cross-sector collaborations. Her work includes launching the 360hub Youth Conference at the Library of Alexandria and the decade-long YES Campaign (2002 – 2012). She has taught worldwide, in partnership with Dignity Education India, and co-creates immersive media- and art projects through ImagineAction artist network.

As project lead for Start-Up for Peace, she coordinates global peace and climate education events, championing a youth-led, artist-driven, wisdom-based narrative for a livable future. She is based between Oslo and Molde, with an office at The Nod/House of Consciousness.

Wolfgang Merz

Financial Relations

After studying economics including a PhD (focus on public finances and monetary policy) I worked in the Ministry of Finance, dealing with national fiscal policy, preparation of European Monetary Union and the Stability and Growth Pact. After a four year term at the International Monetary Fund (inter alia economic surveillance of Europe, Russia, Ukraine, cooperation with the World Bank) I returned to the Ministry, dealing with various European dossiers (such as economic analysis of all EU member states, coordination of the ECOFIN-council also in the Eurocrisis; European economic policy). In parallel, I had various functions in Brussels, f.e. President of the Economic Policy Committee and Mediator of the Macroeconomic Dialogue at EU level. After leaving the Ministry I am acting as independent „International Economist and Policy Advisor“ in the areas of consulting, lecturing (incl. speeches) and writing.

Andreas Hube
Advisor Economics and International Relations

Andreas Hube is the Federal Managing Director of the BWA (Bundesverband für Wirtschaftsförderung und Außenwirtschaft) and Vice-Chairman and founding board member of China-Bridge, a public diplomacy platform dedicated to strengthening Sino-EU relations. He brings over 25 years of international experience in the IT and digital innovation sectors. During his 15 years with SAP in China, he served as Chief Operating Officer for North Asia and held various leadership positions in marketing, alliances, and strategic consulting. After returning to Germany, he led key global initiatives as Vice President and Head of the China Liaison Office. Andreas holds a master’s degree in International Business Management (China) from the University of Ludwigshafen and studied Chinese at Nanjing University. He is currently based in Berlin.

Wolfgang Kaufmann

Digital Relations

Wolfgang Kaufmann is an experienced media, digital and AI strategist with over thirty years of expertise. He began his career in traditional media production and, as digitalization progressed, shifted his focus to online presence and the integration of digital techniques into existing workflows. His approach remains always user-centered—after all, the best technical systems are useless if nobody uses them.

Throughout his career, he has helped organizations of all sizes—from innovative start-ups to established corporations—make data-driven decisions and identify, implement, and optimize digital workflows. As an AI expert, he also designs and integrates intelligent, learning-based solutions alongside collaborative tools that boost productivity and engagement, combining technical know-how with strategic vision. In doing so, Wolfgang Kaufmann empowers his clients to tackle digital challenges with confidence and achieve lasting success.

Since January 2025, Wolfgang Kaufmann has been a passionate supporter of the Delphic idea and the Delphic Movement. His passion is bringing cultures and people together—both at the live Delphic Games and in everyday digital life. He drives the digitization of this global cultural movement to foster even stronger connections between art, culture, and people in line with Delphic values.

Daniel Schmoecker

Project Manager

Daniel is a passionate art and religious educator and works at a high school in Berlin. He loves to create exciting art and culture projects for young people. Since 2017 he has further developed the Delphic Art Wall project for schools and successfully implemented it several times.

Daniel Postulka

Press Relations

Daniel is a freelance writer, researcher, concept developer, and media relations expert in Berlin. He has been working in this field since 2000. His main topics are politics, health, energy and logistics. He has been supporting the IDC since 2003, when he managed the press relations for the II. Junior Delphic Games 2003 in Düsseldorf, Germany. In March 2025 Daniel Postulka became CEO of IDA alongside J. Christian B. Kirsch. Daniel is 56 years old, married, and has five mostly grown-up children.

Dipl. Journ. Waltraud Kretschmann 
Office Manager

Born into a refugee family in Germany, very close to arts, culture and heritage. She studied journalistic and worked as editor for the German Television, Berlin and in the largest Film lending and Film Distribution Company of former GDR in the Public Relations Department. Since 1995 she is working full time for the International Delphic Council (IDC), Berlin. From the beginning, she is in charge for the Office Management.
