Zolani MKIVA, poet of Africa and Nelson Mandela’s former poet, Chairman of the National Delphic Council South Africa, became Delphic Advisor to Africa. During a three-day meeting at the IDC Head Office in Berlin in presence of Delphic Advisors for Austria, Switzerland and the United States, Secretary General J.C.B. Kirsch was handing over the Mandate for Africa. Mkiva, living in Joburg, South Africa stated: “As a cultural activist I will dedicate my time and energy to fulfil my mandate. My task is to mobilise and build structures of the IDC in Africa.” Mkiva is also the CEO of the Xhosa Royal Council, chairmanship of the African Royal Awards, Council Member of the Havana International Poetry Festival and director-general of the Institute of African Royalty.
